Elmer and Letitia Sufflebeam have been longtime favorites of Gridiron audiences. Rusty  Garrett and Brenda Blagg have portrayed the backwoods couple for years. In 2006, however, Brenda could not be in the show, so Natalia Pizarro stepped in to play Tia Lupe, a Mexican border guard who arrested Elmer, who was serving in the “Natural Guard.”
