As of Aug. 29, the Arkansas Public Theatre was requiring patrons to wear masks while in the lobby, restrooms and hallways. Once seated, audience members are allowed to remove their masks.
Theater tables and seating are physically distanced to add safety.
Vaccinations are required for all people who will be on stage or backstage.
Performers will wear special performance shields when on stage.
Actors will not leave the stage en masse at intermission to greet audience members in the lobby, as has been our tradition. At the end of the show, weather permitting, actors will visit with audience members on the sidewalk in front of the theater.
Costume changes this year will be kept to a minimum to reduce use of the theatre’s dressing rooms.
